Despite the ongoing pandemic, the diverse Middle Eastern and African label industry showed little signs of slowing down in 2020 and is on a growth trajectory. More and more suppliers and converters are entering this lucrative market leading to increasing competition and growth. They hold the potential to sell not just within the region but export to neighbouring countries as well.
Recognising the huge potential of the label industry in this region, Gulf Print & Pack has decided to add the Labelexpo pavilion to its 2021 edition.Labelexpo Europe, led by the expert global team of Tarsus, is the largest label and package printing event in the world. The show celebrates innovation and excellence in label and package printing technology and is known to bring together leaders in the industry from across the globe.
“The Labelexpo Pavilion at Gulf Print & Pack 2021 will bring together leading suppliers from the label and package printing industry to help deliver these business opportunities for MEA printers,” said Andy Thomas-Emans, strategic director, Gulf Print & Pack.
Alongside this, the MEA print industry was already witnessing changes in terms of diversification and digitization but the transformation of the industry was propelled by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Acknowledging this shift in the MEA print industry, Gulf Print & Pack 2021 will introduce the Brand Print pavilion to the show which will focus on bringing together the suppliers of Large Format Printing Machinery, Substrates, Ancillaries/Tooling, Consumables and Software together with printers looking to develop and enhance their service offerings to the profitable sector of brand marketing.
The new pavilions bring an opportunity for print converters in MEA to capitalize on the evolving print market, experience the latest technology and benefit from the growing areas of print.
