Heidelberg Middle East has announced its participation in the upcoming Gulf Print & Pack 2024 exhibition. The event, scheduled for 9-11 January 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Center, provides the perfect platform for Heidelberg to showcase its latest range of digital production presses equipped with the state-of-the-art Prinect Digital Front End (DFE). This exciting exhibition promises to be a significant moment for the printing industry as Heidelberg takes the integration of digital and offset printing to the next level. At Gulf Print & Pack 2024, Heidelberg Middle East will unveil the new Versafire digital printing systems, including the Versafire LV and Versafire LP, each powered by the enhanced Prinect Digital Front End. This groundbreaking technology ensures a flexible, standardized, highly productive, and intuitive combination of offset and digital printing technology, setting a new standard for print shops with hybrid workflows. The integration of these digital presses with Prinect DFE streamlines the production process, enhancing efficiency and quality in the print industry.
One of the highlights of this exhibition will be the Versafire LP, designed for cost-effective
production of larger volumes and short runs. With a capacity of up to one million clicks per
month, it is among the market's most productive toner-based digital presses in the A3 format.
Features like automatic register, calibration, inline colour measurement, and content monitoring ensure maximum reliability in production.
The Versafire LV, on the other hand, offers a fifth inking unit and a choice of seven spot colours,
making it an ideal solution for a wide range of applications in short-run printing. With a high
level of automation and upgrade options, the Versafire LV delivers outstanding flexibility and
investment security.
The Prinect Digital Front End, developed in-house by Heidelberg, is the centrepiece of the new
Versafire systems. This second-generation software supports the standardization of print shop
production, enabling automation and pre-consisting of all steps from job creation and preflight checking to colour management and impositioning. It follows the "two printing processes – one workflow technology" principle, allowing the complete integration of offset and digital printing into a single workflow.
Moreover, Heidelberg Middle East offers a comprehensive ecosystem to its digital printing
customers, including consumables, digital services, software, cloud-based solutions, training
and consultancy. This holistic approach provides significant added value and simplifies the
entire printing process, with a single contact partner for all requirements.
"We are thrilled to be part of Gulf Print & Pack 2024 and introduce our latest digital printing
solutions to the Middle East market. Heidelberg Middle East is committed to providing cutting-edge technology and complete printing solutions to our valued customers. We believe that the Versafire digital presses and Prinect DFE will revolutionise the industry by taking digital and offset printing to the next level," said Roger Nicodeme, General Manager.
Heidelberg Middle East invites attendees of Gulf Print & Pack 2024 to visit its booth to witness
these innovative solutions and explore the future of printing technology. The company looks
forward to a successful show and meaningful discussions with customers, partners, and industry professionals.
