SGI Dubai 2025 concludes with strong exhibitor sales, high-quality visitors, and renewed market confidence

SGI Dubai 2025 has successfully concluded at the Dubai World Trade Centre, cementing its position as the Middle East & Africa’s premier trade event for the printing and signage industry. Over the three days of the exhibition, the show floor was bustling with serious buyers, live demonstrations, and a steady stream of deal-making across large-format printing, digital signage, textile printing, CNC, laser, 3D, and car-wrapping solutions.

Exhibitors reported exceptional results, with several companies confirming that their machines were completely sold out on-site. Many others closed multiple orders during the show and generated a significant pipeline of qualified leads that will translate into strong business over the coming months. This immediate return on investment once again highlighted SGI Dubai’s reputation as a results-driven platform where exhibitors achieve tangible business outcomes.

Mr. Abdulrahman Falaknaz, President of International Expo-Consults (IEC), said:
“SGI Dubai has once again proven to be the decision-makers’ show. The success of this year’s edition reflects the resilience and growth appetite of our industry across the Middle East and Africa. Exhibitors not only showcased their latest technologies but also secured real business on the ground. As new investments flow into retail, transit, hospitality, and smart-city projects, SGI Dubai continues to serve as the bridge between global innovation and regional demand.”

The event also welcomed new exhibitors from regions such as North Africa and Australia, underlining the global appeal of SGI Dubai and its role in opening doors to new markets. Their participation enriched the show floor with a wider variety of technologies and solutions, strengthening the exhibition’s profile as an international hub.

The comprehensive show profile reflected the full breadth of the industry—from wide-format printing and textile applications to LED signage, digital displays, fabrication, engraving, and car wrapping. Each category drew strong engagement from visitors, who were eager to explore technologies that combine automation, sustainability, and cost efficiency. Live demonstrations across the halls created a vibrant marketplace where decision-makers could see innovations in action before making investment commitments.

Looking ahead, Mr. Falaknaz added, “We are extremely bullish about SGI Dubai 2026. The early interest we are already witnessing from exhibitors across continents shows the confidence the industry places in this platform. Next year will be bigger, more diverse, and even more future-focused, offering our stakeholders an unparalleled opportunity to connect, collaborate, and grow.”

With the momentum of SGI Dubai 2025, planning is already underway for the next edition. Exhibitors and brands are encouraged to secure their stands early for SGI Dubai 2026, which promises to deliver an even larger platform for innovation and business exchange.

AI Takes Center Stage at SGI Dubai Knowledge Series

The SGI Dubai 2025 Knowledge Series featured an engaging panel discussion with five industry leaders — Mr. Khaled El-Sheikh, Marketing Director, Al Rabeta; Mr. Philippe Husni, Managing Director, Heliozid Oce; Mr. Kethiswaram Singaravel, Founder & CEO, XESS Group of Companies; Mr. Jaish Badlani, Founder & GM, HAK Plus; and Ms. Charlotte Cogger, Client Relationship Manager, Plyrix. Adding a strong academic dimension to the session, a group of students from the American University of Dubai, accompanied by their professor, attended to gain first-hand insights into how the printing and signage industry is being reshaped. The panelists stressed that artificial intelligence (AI) should not be feared, but rather embraced as a catalyst for transformation. Whether in printing, gifting, textiles, logistics, or advertising materials, AI is already proving to be a powerful tool for enhancing creativity, efficiency, and competitiveness.

The discussion reinforced the idea that the industry must adapt to thrive in this new era. Panelists pointed out that AI-driven solutions are revolutionizing workflows, unlocking new design possibilities, streamlining operations, and even redefining customer engagement. For sectors like the gifting industry, where creativity is central, AI is enabling innovations that were once unimaginable. The session concluded with a powerful message for both professionals and the next generation of industry leaders present in the room: the printing and signage industry is thriving, but its future success will depend on how well it integrates and leverages AI. AI is not a choice; it is the way forward.
