APRIL Group, the manufacturer of PaperOne™, one of the world’s leading premium paper brands, recently announced the launch of two new speciality products - PaperOne™ Thermal Base and PaperOne™ White Kraft - at Paperworld Middle East 2025, held in Dubai.
As one of the fastest-growing hubs for global trade, the Middle East is a priority market for APRIL Group. The region’s continued expansion has made it a strategic platform for APRIL to introduce new products for modern business applications.
“The Middle East is not only one of our most dynamic markets, it is also a gateway connecting our global customers to new opportunities. Launching our latest PaperOne™ innovations here reflects our long-term commitment to the region and to supporting its growth with reliable, high-performance products,” said Edwin Wong, Global Commercial Head of Paper, APRIL Group.
“PaperOne™ Thermal Base and White Kraft demonstrate how advanced paper engineering and responsible manufacturing can deliver both productivity gains and sustainability benefits for our partners,” said Mr. Wong.
Introducing New PaperOne™ Speciality Grades
PaperOne™ Thermal Base has been created to provide superior smoothness, consistent thickness, and optimal moisture control. Its precise surface properties support high-quality thermal printing for applications such as retail receipts, logistics labels, baggage tags, and other fast-moving commercial uses.
Designed for strength and visual appeal, PaperOne™ White Kraft has been created to deliver a combination of durability and a clean, premium white finish. Suitable for shopping bags, protective wrapping, and secure packaging, APRIL is offering this new product to brand owners as a sustainable option that meets growing demand for high-quality, environmentally responsible packaging materials.
Showcasing Innovation and Sustainability
The PaperOne™ showcase at Paperworld prominently featured ProDigi™ HD Print Technology, the brand’s signature innovation that enhances colour vibrancy, print precision, and operational efficiency. By reducing ink consumption and minimising paper jams, ProDigi™ supports lower total printing costs—an important advantage for both commercial and consumer users.
During the exhibition, visitors also experienced the PaperOne™ flagship cutsize and offset ranges, known for sharper print results, fast-drying performance, and measurable cost savings through the company’s proven Quality, Productivity and Cost methodology.
APRIL’s sustainability principles continue to guide the development and expansion of the PaperOne™ portfolio. All PaperOne™ products are made using 100% renewable plantation fibre and carry leading global certifications including PEFC and the EU Ecolabel, ensuring responsible sourcing and production.
Paperworld Middle East 2025 underscores APRIL Group’s commitment to deepening partnerships and expanding market presence across the Middle East and nearby regions.
