Canon EMEA announces the appointment of Peter Saak

Canon EMEA has announced the appointment of Peter Saak as Chief of its newly renamed Integrated Printing & Services Group (IPSG), marking a strategic evolution from the former Digital Printing & Solutions division. A seasoned leader within the organisation, Saak steps into the role following his tenure as Executive Vice President of Canon EMEA’s Developing Regions Business Group, where he played a pivotal role in driving growth, strengthening regional operations, and expanding Canon’s footprint across emerging markets. His appointment signals a clear intent to further integrate advanced print technologies with high-value services and solutions.

In his new position, Saak will oversee a broad strategic remit, focused on accelerating the convergence of hardware, software, and services. Priorities include building connected and efficient print and document management ecosystems, expanding partner channels, and driving innovation into new and evolving markets across the EMEA region.

Commenting on his appointment, Saak said: “I am honoured to lead the newly renamed Integrated Printing & Services Group. Our goal is to build on the incredible foundation that exists, continuing to combine our innovative technology with solutions and applications that meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners.”

The rebranding of the group reflects Canon EMEA’s broader strategy to move beyond standalone print solutions, positioning IPSG as a catalyst for digital transformation, workflow efficiency, and long-term customer value. As Canon continues to adapt to changing market demands and customer expectations, Saak’s appointment represents a decisive step toward a more integrated, services-led future for the business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
