Drupa has opened registration for exhibitors for its 2028 show. Following the 2024 outing which attracted 1,643 exhibitors and 170,000 trade visitors, the 2028 event will run for nine days from 9-17 May that year at Messe Düsseldorf. It is set to bring together the international print and packaging community across all industrial processes, from machine and technology providers to software and workflow specialists, brand owners, designers and the creative industry.
The show organiser said Drupa 2028 will focus on “end-to-end solutions as well as automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, materials and the circular economy”.
It said it is therefore expanding its range of exhibitors to include topics that are becoming increasingly important for industrial production, efficiency gains and sustainable business models.
“This new direction in terms of content is accompanied by a new, expressive and distinctive visual identity that makes the focus of the world's leading trade fair visible and tangible,” Messe Düsseldorf said.
“The new look consistently focuses on networked, systemically conceived printing and packaging solutions and positions Drupa as a global stage for industrial solutions.”
The 2028 edition will also increasingly focus on brand owners, designers and creative professionals from the print and packaging sectors “who are driving forward new areas of application and business models”.
“The combination of technology and creativity is what determines competitiveness and market success today,” said Sabine Geldermann, director of Drupa, portfolio print technologies at Messe Düsseldorf.
“Drupa is the world's leading platform where technological innovations are brought together with specific market requirements and translated into marketable solutions.”
The registration deadline for exhibitors is 31 October 2026.
Messe Düsseldorf said companies that already exhibited in 2024 can log in to the online registration tool on the Drupa website using their existing access data while first-time exhibitors will be guided step by step through the registration process as part of the online procedure.
